We are all people of habit. We engage in habitual things. For some, it is excessive smoking. For others, it is excessive eating. Apart from the bad habits, human beings engage in certain habits that produce a degree of certainty in the results even if those habits may not be good for us.

Simultaneously, we want better results but shun anything that is new and different. Therefore, we revert back to what is safe and comfortable in our comfort zone.

The fact of the matter is change is the only constant. To grow and evolve both personally and professionally in your network marketing business, you must make change and step out from your comfort zone.

Take for example this. If you are comfortable with the things you do, then you are simply doing what you have already been doing which will produce the same results as before. If you continue to play video games during the weekend when you should be working on your online network marketing business, you will become a better video game player and NOT a good network marketer. If you are willing to do things that you are not accustomed to such as attending network marketing meetings, writing e-mails, blogging, article marketing, then you will create new results.

What is the take home message here? If something is not comfortable to you, it is probably the right thing you should be doing to achieve greater success in business. So make it a point to get accustomed to something that is new and uncomfortable to you. Perhaps you have heard of the definition of insanity. It is "doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result." Consider the definition of futility. It refers to "knowing the definition of insanity, and still doing nothing about it."
