Writing an online business press release is often a great deal more difficult than writing a press release for a brick-and-mortar company or store. An online business, which has appeal all over the globe, cannot and should not target a particular local market in the vast majority of cases.

For example, if a new study came out which proves that doing Yoga can help you lose weight, an owner of a yoga website could write a press release citing this study, and talking about the benefits of yoga, mentioning his or her website. Using quotes is a good way to do this.
While this might not be the most popular method of writing an online business press release, since it doesn't actually announce anything happening within a business, it is by far the most effective method of distributing and writing an online business press release. The resulting information is more pertinent to a nationwide audience and will be of interest to a wider circle of people. In addition, it is written to seem very non-promotional, and as a result, little revision will be necessary. You should see a large response to documents written in this way.
